With the Spork Salad Bar Program, your school gets a curated selection of fresh, pre-cut vegetables designed to meet USDA vegetable requirements and excite students with variety. Each package includes four pre-cut items from the following vegetable subcategories:

This means your salad bar is always seasonal, balanced, colorful, and USDA-compliant—without the prep time.

Spork pre-cuts use the same locally sourced produce from our Food Hub farmers, processed immediately in Sacramento. Pre-cuts follow the same rigorous quality standards and 2–3 day harvest-to-customer lead time.

Yes, you may pick the produce items from our pre-cut, picked to harvest assortment that meets the USDA vegetable subcategory requirements.

We find that a 4-week or longer program period is ideal to see the benefits and impact of the local, pre-cut salad bar in your school's cafeteria, lunch routines and behavior change. It also allows for us to provide a well-rounded selection of seasonal pre-cut items.
